You will work at a leading Belgian insurance organisation operating in a cooperative and purpose-driven environment. The company is undergoing a significant IT transformation to modernise its life insurance landscape, including pension, savings and investment products. You will be part of a cross-functional environment with close collaboration between business and IT teams across multiple locations.
Your Tasks
• Define and manage the backlog for life insurance applications.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories.
• Prioritise features based on business value and stakeholder input.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and development teams.
• Ensure alignment between product vision and delivery execution.
• Support agile ceremonies and guide the team throughout sprints.
• Contribute to the broader transformation programme with a structured approach.
Your skills
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent through experience.• You have at least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
• You have experience within financial services, preferably in insurance.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch.
• You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• You work in a structured way and take ownership of your deliverables.
• You are comfortable working in a complex transformation environment.
• You are a collaborative team player with a pragmatic mindset.
