For a leading Belgian insurer, we're looking for a Functional Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business and IT. You'll play a key role in shaping and improving digital services used daily by brokers, customers, and internal teams.

What you'll do
- Analyse business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Prepare functional analyses, user stories, features, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct impact and gap analyses to support informed decision-making.
- Align project scope and priorities with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Support testing activities and act as a functional reference during validation phases.
- Help ensure consistency, quality, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital channels and customer-facing services.
Your skills
Who we're looking for- Master's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role combining business and technical expertise.
- Strong analytical skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Enterprise Architect, and test management solutions like Zephyr.
- Comfortable collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Able to challenge requirements constructively and drive consensus.
- Fluent in Dutch or French and good understanding of the other
- Fluency in English
