Your role
As a Functional Analyst, you act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams. You analyse requirements, challenge assumptions, and translate business needs into clear and actionable solutions.
You will:
- Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional analyses, user stories, process flows, and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and testers.
- Conduct impact and gap analyses to support decision-making.
- Support the design and optimisation of business processes and digital solutions.
- Coordinate and support testing activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to Agile projects and digital transformation programmes.
Your skills
Who you are- You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
- You hold a Master's degree or have equivalent experience.
- You combine strong analytical skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
- You are comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience in financial services
- You have experience documenting functional requirements and business processes.
- Knowledge of SQL, BPMN, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools is a plus.
- You communicate fluently in English and either Dutch or French.
